I'm not sure if this is the right spot for this, but I'm posting it here anyway. It came to my attention today that a long-time breeder is really in a bad way financially. She's been through cancer, a fractured ankle, and being laid off. A lot of people have benefited from her help, her animals and her willingness to take up her time to support our chapter.
I'm proposing a benevolence fund to help her where donations can be made through paypal to help her with food and minor expenses. I'm speaking of Linda Clark, and I'm going to ask that this be kept strictly hush-hush. I'm sure everyone knows how hard it is to be in need. I think this is just a small way to repay someone who's had such a significant impact on all of us.
Donations can be made to our paypal account for Claire Russell, our secretary, at [email protected]. Please note on your donation that it's for the Linda Clark Benevolence Fund and not for raffle tickets. I know these are tough times for all of us, but a little from each of us can add up to a lot to someone who is really struggling.
