Bass Pans: Worth the money?

I have had lots of pans made by Ryerson's. Rich can make them to whatever dimension you need and is very reasonable on shipping.

The bass pans are completely worth it. I use them with fleece liners. To help with poo flying, make sure to get ledges with the backboard it catches a ton of poo and keeps them off my floors lol

I second this, I use bass pans with the fleece too on both of my ferret nations and also agree about using ledges with a backboard to cut down on the amount of poo flung out of the cage and onto the floors.
I had them make mine 3" (which was the max depth when I called) for an extra couple bucks...so ask them what's the deepest they'll make them and what's the additional cost- better to spend it once than to order something and regret it afterwards.

Ps. the pans are galvanized and I was told to simply rinse them BEFORE putting them into the cage.
