I know chins grind their teeth down on hay, but what about bark. I have grapevine bark (off the sticks) and I know they love it, but is it also good for their teeth even off the stick?

We all know the front teeth get worked over with wood but likewise I have wondered if once the bark is stripped if it works down the back teeth...
From what I can tell with countls hours just watching sage eat I'm almost positive they grind down both chunks of bark (if they don't chip it small enough to swallow) with the back teeth aswell as pellets and syringe feed... But I could be wrong.
