Bad and Good news

So the good news, I'll be setting up a website soon, selling my chinchilla products, I'll have this posted ASAP.

The bad news, is that I will not be making chinchilla treat jars or any food containers out of my own clay as nor I or the art store know of if it is "food safe", it's non toxic, but I don't want to take the chance of endangering anyone or their pet. I'm sorry if I promised you a jar or salt shaker, I just don't want to take the risk.

Ornaments
Coasters
Candle Holders
General Decor
and many more!!!

Once again I would like to apologize, if I come into the money and means of creating food safe jars/items I will pursue it and have it back on the table.

Well right now I'm working on the ornaments and lil statues, but I would imagine I could make them a flat circular disk and just paint a chinchilla on it, like a face//body. Just an idea.

Could there be some sort of glossy finish on top of the coaster? For looks, and so that condensation won't mess with the clay?

and yes the coaster would have a glossy finish, most of what I make probably will. I haven't made a coaster yet but when I have the site up hopefully I'll have mastered the craft.

I did make a few ornaments yesterday, still need painting, but they turned out very cute! I'm going to make a lot of these things before I make the site/store though so I'll have a variety of premade items and you can also request customs.

Well the Beverly's here has a ton of jars but I couldn't really find one that would work, I'm searching through etsy and ebay lately for supplies though so hopefully we'll have the treat jar available again. :]
