Can anyone help me? I need to know what the signs of a mother rejecting her kids are. My nannies won't stay still long enough for her twins to nurse. And the babies seem to be having some trouble finding her teats as well. They were born today around 5, my other goat didn't have these problems.

I think your best bet would be a goat forum. I have goats, but do not breed them so can't help you, sorry! I hope you do get the advice needed.

You may need to physically restrain her to make sure the newborns get sufficient colostrum esp during the first few days while their gut can still absorb colostrum and get the immune benefits from it.Some folks use neck stanchions .You may even have to hand milk her and bottle the kids at first. Are these her first kids?

They are, but she finally accepted them. She was just really tired out. I had to help her get the little boy(Maestro) out but his sister(Honey) just slid right out after him, LOL
