Babies drinking from mom's apple juice!

Well at least one of my 4 week old triplets has discovered the half water-half apple juice bottle that's in there for mom, and I've seen her drinking from it sometimes. I've tried moving the bottle up high but she just climbs up the wall to get to it sneaky little ones.

So is this bad for them? Should I take it out?

I would take it out. If the kits are 4 weeks Mom shouldn't need it anymore. Her milk should be in just fine. After years of breeding I found that the apple juice really doesn't increase a Mom's liquid intake by much anyway. I don't use it anymore at all.

I don't think this question can possibly be answered without new pics of the babies! Right?
I don't know, but I don't think it could hurt. Seems it would help the momma and give her a tiny little break.

I would just take it out. It doesn't help mom a whole lot

You haven't mentioned how fresh it is - that'd be a concern for kits!
I would remove it!

Take it out. It isn't helping mom at this point anyhow and the little ones don't need the juice at all.

I would just go ahead and take it out. I'm with Kelly - I don't think it makes that much difference, and I don't use it at all anymore unless mom is not drinking at all.

That being said, I also have to agree that you're getting an awful lot of commentary without posting any pics. Shame on you.
