My fiance and I just recently moved into a house and he works a lot of nights, leaving me alone most of the time. I brought up the idea of having a dog and he agreed so we started looking. I've been looking for awhile and saw one online at one of the animal shelters in the area. We went to the shelter and I tell ya, if I had the room and money, they'd all be mine! Well I looked through a book of dogs and still wanted to see this one...named Hiroshi, that I've been looking at for awhile online. So they brought him out and it was love at first sight. He is so lovable, already neutered, already housebroken, knows all the basic commands and some tricks...he is everything we could ask for.
We signed the adoption form and got him a little over a week ago and he has just turned out to the the best dog. He had quite a runny nose when we first got him but it's clearing up a lot now. He is just great and I am impressed by him everyday. I'm so glad we decided to rescue and glad we did when we did...or else poor Hiroshi (named at the shelter by a Japanese woman, we loved the name!) would be in line for being put down. I can't understand why he was left and no one claimed him. Someone obviously put a lot of time and money into him. We love him! I tried to include pictures but it is not working for some reason.
