This summer has been a blur! Part of the reason is that my granddaughter Ashley got married this weekend. We raised her, so I we were the "parents".

We went dress shopping one day, just to look. She wanted a strapless dress with a bunch of lace. This one caught our eye right away. When she tried it on, we knew it was THE one. We bought it before we left!

The place is a girl scout camp. It is a beautiful building, made with huge trees off of the property. With the decorations we added (we brought in a cherry picker!) it looked really nice.

All of my siblings were there, which is pretty amazing, since they live all over the country. Overall, I'm exhausted and glad it is over, but it was a super day!
