I'm going to the track tomorrow to watch the races and invited a friend along. I talked to her early last week and told her what time they started and that we'd pick her up between 11:15 and 11:30. She said that was fine, blah blah blah.
I talked to her again yesterday and confirmed the time and she seemed fine with it.
Today, I remind her about the time again and she says "oh, by the way I'll probably be late... I have something for church at 11 that will probably get done at 11:30 so I should be home soon after that." Great.
It's nothing major, but it's just frustrating. We're supposed to meet other people up there, and if we wait too much longer we won't make it in time for the first race. I HATE scrambling around last minute. I HATE being late.....
I told her we could wait until 11:45 and no later... I hope she makes it in time but somehow I doubt she will.
Sorry, I'm just really frustrated. Had a terrible day at work, I'm stressed about the surgery I'm having this week, I'm looking forward to a relaxing day of horse racing with a friend and don't really feel like dealing with people being late.
