Are there Chin Sitter Available?

Hi, I am the happy chin owner of a 8 month old sweet male chin. We play all the time together so when I found out I need to go away for a couple weeks in August for work, I kinda freaked out. I really want a chin-friendly person to watch him, I'de be willing to pay someone well that knows how to pick him up, play with him and understands chins. my friends and family have offered to watch him. But I would perfer someone more knowledgable about my little chin. I live in the Bay Area, any ideas? thanks

If you don't happen to find a chin sitter, is it possible for you to educate your family or friends on how to properly care for your chin while you are gone? There is plenty of time to have someone over with you when you are with your chins and you could use this time to introduce your chin to this person and to have this person train hands on with you around to monitor.

hi, that would be amazing if you could chin sit for me. I live in sf, but would you be willing to let me drop him off at your house for a couple weeks? Do you have chinchillas at home as well, and how long have you had them? He has a cage, and a couple toys I could bring over. How much do you charge per week/day?

I also do boarding and I generally don't travel at all in the summer due to my chins (We have over 30 here!). The chin room is insulated, has A/C and a temperature monitoring system that alerts me via e-mail and text when the temperature exceeds my guidelines. I live about an hour east from San Francisco, in Manteca.

Let me know if you are still looking for someone to watch him while you are gone. We'd be happy to have him!

I'm a little farther away in Santa Rosa, CA but could watch your baby as well. My only experience is with my own eight month old boy but I don't work so he'd have my company if he wanted it.

I don't have a quarentine room with an AC, so I couldn't take your baby in. But if you needed someone to drop by each day to feed, dust, and play, I'll be available. I'm in San Jose, I'd only ask for a bit of gas money for the drive. Not counting the days I'd normally go up there to visit my great aunt.

Though If you could board him at Chinchilla Chateau, he'd probably have much more fun.
Speaking of, where did you get a temperature monitering alert system, that's amazing!

I don't have a good quarantine room (or at least not ideal) unfortunately, sorry I didn't quite think of that! If there was a way to go over or something I could but I could also see that being sorta creepy! If others don't work out we can PM.
