Anyone know what this might be?

Take a look at the rear end. This is a female, about 5 years old, possibly pregnant, possibly had babies 7 weeks ago. The swelling is not especially hard or soft, feels like her belly.

She may be swollen a bit from giving birth. Sometimes the swelling will stay for awhile. Do you have a picture of her underside? Is the swelling by the base of her tail or more on her belly?

Not sure what this means? Either she did or didn't have babies? I think we need a little more info.

Is it possible that she has a retained fetus or is she just sitting funny and is fat?

She was surrendered with a bunch of other chins and I don't know her history.
It is possible (but not definite) that she gave birth about 7 weeks ago, there was a baby that age with the the group. She was also housed with males, so I assume she could be pregnant again. Her stomach does seem stretched out and she is chubby, I don't have a weight on her yet. Going to post photos.

Cant really see anything wrong in the pics, chins are just so fluffy i dont thin its showing up well.

Is it one side of her rather than both sides of her body equally. Is it a structure under the fur, or is it a chunk of fur. Is it firm or warmer to the touch. Dose she find it painful when you touch it? Doses she display any strange behaviors/ look lethargic or sick.
