They are amazing! I'm not sure exactly about the paint but I'm sure its safe.That is a good question though!

I would love to order from them myself but my chins would chew up the walls with the artwork before I even got a picture.

If I'm remembering correctly, I think Twilight Chinchillas uses soy paint. But I'm not sure, so take that with a grain of salt haha. I want to order something from her sometime soon when I finish re-doing one of my girls' cage !

I don't know what Twilight Chinchillas uses specifically but food coloring and food coloring markers are safe.
