Any gift ideas????

Hi guys! I am trying to think of a gift to give my younger son's soccer coach. The season ends this month, and I thought I would be the one to get a gift this season, but I don't know if I should buy a gift, or give a gift card. I also don't know if I should make it a soccer type gift, or something that she could personally use. The coach is a soccer mom herself that donates her time to train our kids a couple of times a week, and then coach the game on Saturdays. I thought maybe a $50 dollar gift or gift certificate...Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can get her? Thank you so much!!!

I love gift cards, esp ones to eat out.

We always gave our coaches a plaque that they can hang on their wall. The coaches we gave that to absolutely loved it. That plus just a thank you card signed by all the players.

In all honesty, how many plaques can a person really love? I think a gift card would be an awesome idea as well as a card signed by all the players.

You'd be suprised, lol! My dad coached most of my sisters teams and he still has about seven plaques hanging in his office at work. Makes him happy that he has something to remember his coaching days.:thumbsup: The card with everyone signing it though...that actually had one of our coaches choked up with unshed tears and all, lol.

I don't usually get restaurant ones, because sometimes where I like to eat or vice versa (where they like to eat), isn't what the other person likes or think they like. I usually get a chapters gift card or a movie gift card for some theatre,etc..., if I don't know the person that well to know what restaurant they like, or a coffee shop gift card like Starbucks or Tim Horton's. Just a thought. If you don't know what they like or dislike, you can't go wrong with a gift card to chapters (everyone likes books!), or a coffee shop or such.
