Haha, don't tempt me to go take more cute pictures! I have ebony triplets now to play with. :tease:

Beautiful! Is Mom a White/Violet?

No history of white that I know of. I recently asked Gary to get me a more in depth pedigree so I look forward to seeing what he comes up with. She certainly is an unusual violet. She kind of reminds me of a violet version of the recessive white with the white rings around her ears and nose. She was bred to a white mosaic and had a litter of quads. 2 standards and 2 mosaics.

She really does look like a recessive white, but in violet! Wow, now that would be a cool mutation!

The reason I asked was I also have a Violet male (very similar shade) with white facial markings with no white in his background. He had a patch of fur pulled from his face by a littermate, it grew back in white & the area has continued to lighten & spread. Your girl is beautiful, her markings do resemble the shading of a recessive white.

Does your violet male have white rings around his ears too? I could see where the white in the nose could be scar hairs but its interesting that it spread up the nose. Do you have pictures of him you could share?

If I ever make it out there to see you, you need to take my purse at the door. Just so you know. :D

So then it would probably be really bad to tell you that I have connections in the charter industry and can transport them via private jet? ;)

His markings are definately due to scarring. He doesn't have the white rings around his ears. Is this her first litter? I wonder if she'd throw white if not bred to a white?
