So I've had my little Stickshift for 6 years now. He's 7 years old.
Starting last year I noticed his behavior towards others has become more aggressive.
He will bark at them whenever people past the cage or when I hold him so they could pet him.
Even try to bite them if they sit with me in the bathroom for playtime.

He doesn't act this way towards me at all. I figured it's because I handle him the most. But I just find it odd that he does this now.
Before it was only to one person (my nephew) but that was only because he poked Stickshift in the eye when he was sleeping & since then Stickshift just hates him.

But now his aggressive behavior is towards others & concerns me.

I think he hates all other people because of your nephew. He trusts you but not others. Can't say I blame him. It will take a long time before he trusts others. Consider yourself lucky he trusts you after what your nephew did

I figured it was because of him. (I don't blame Stickshift for biting my nephew sad to say.)
But that was at least 4 years ago since that happened.
Though Stickshift til this day knows who he is & will always attack the cage whenever he see him.

He's been okay with the members that's in the household now.

How was he able to poke him in the eye? Did Stickshift have a house he could hide in? Poor little guy. I hope your nephew has matured and knows better now! No wonder he hates everyone else.

Chins take a while to develop trust. My Chichi is 4 years old. When I got her three years ago, she was extremely skittish and scared (She was a 5 y/o boy's pet and he grabbed at her a lot). She has improved a little since being with me, but she doesn't like being touched or held still. Her kids are much more friendly. My point is that they DO remember and it will take lots of time for him to come around again- if he ever does. I don't think Chichi is ever going to change. It's just in her nature. Be patient and try to keep other people away that he isn't comfortable with.

Stickshift was sleeping in his cage. Adrian my nephew found this cat teaser toy that Stickshift likes to play with & picked it up to use to poke stickshift & got him in the eye. Stickshift rushed to the cage & Adrian only being a toddler tries to pet him but got bit instead.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear how Chichi was treated before. I'm glad she's in a better home now :)
