After posting 3 OTHER threads, a late intro.

Hiiiii!
I'm Brittany_Lynn, or Brittany if you like I'm a new-to-chins-why-didn't-I-get-one-or-5-sooner-type girl. My first pair, Rodya and Sonya, I got from a "breeder" who was downsizing her colony, in August. I bought/adopted them for $20 each, and it was the best $40 I spent. They came in a little cage, but soon got upgraded to their lovely current cage. Here's a pair of pics of the pair!

Then came Mork and Orson on November 2nd, because I was just SO in love with chins and needed more.

Mork is the white chin, Orson is the black velvet. Unfortunately, Orson just passed away.

On December 8th, Sonya and Rodya left me this little gift::

His name is Ivan, he's the cutest!

Also, Ivan and Mork have been featured on the best of the best of all cute photo internet websites, cuteoverload.com.

Because I failed to properly separate them, Mork and Orson got in a fight...or rather, Mork attacked Orson repeatedly within a very short time frame, and by the time I found Orson, it was too late. He passed in my arms on the way to the vet.

Oh Brittany, I am so sorry to hear that! That is incredibly tragic! If there is any good in this at all, it is that you got to be with Orson and hold him again before he died.

Thank you very much for your sympathy. You're right, I am glad that he didn't pass before I got a chance to hold him. Also, I am seeking consolation in the fact that he couldn't have suffered for very long--the entire incident had to have taken place between a 2 hour time period. I'm *really* glad he wasn't in pain for very long.
