About to make a big decision

Ok well im about to take in a new chinchilla i think, i currently have a 5 month, and the one i am about to take in is 5 years, what are the chances of them living together in peace and harmony? And if it does not work will they be able to live in separate room if i make sure they cant see each other?

I meant will they be able to live in the same room, not being able to see eachother

Nvm, she does not feel comfortable giving her chinchilla to me since i am relitively new to chinchillas..:cry3: Well i guess thats kinda a bummer but i completely understand her choice
