A Proper Introduction to Handbag (San Diego)

I forgot I made this video on 8/20/10 which was the first day I got Handbag.

I hardly knew at the time about how I should give him time to acclimate, get to know me, etc. Looking back, I think he did pretty good for his first day considering how overbearing I must have seemed to him. :hearts:

I cannot tell you how blessed I feel having had the good fortune and opportunity to adopt such an adorable and loving pet.

Handbag could not be more agreeable and has fit in perfectly with my dog and cat, also from the San Diego Humane Society. He loves his name, loves his scritches, and is as easy to handle as a cat. It's been a wonderful three weeks and I look forward to many more years with him.

I am also quite certain Handbag is thankful I found this forum and am educating myself about chinchillas. I am learning how to provide a safe, healthy and enriched environment for him and look forward to learning more from all the wonderful people here on Chins-n-Hedgies.com.

What a beautiful baby. I have some chins that come through the rescue who are like that. They are just friendly and wonderful from the beginning. Perfect for a first time owner, like you and Handbag.
