Hi everyone! I am excited to announce that we just got our first boy chin after having three girls! We named him Charger because he charges your hand when you go to pet him as if he is going to bite you but then he just does cute and curious nibbles until you scritch him. He is adorable and loving. I have some questions involving him:

Obviously we have need to begin hair ring checks which I am currently learning to do from all your wonderful resources. My only question is at what age do we need to start this? We think he is about 7-8 months (sadly the person didnt know exactly).

Also, I searched a lot on teeth. We noticed he has some of what looks like tartar on his front teeth. Little brownish lines that look like they are just on the surface and probably removable... should we worry? How do we get it off if not?

THANK YOU I Appreciate it sooo much.......!!

I'm just a novice, but I would think that giving some great things to chew on - apple wood, pumice stone, etc. should take of the "tater" stuff. Good luck with your Charger!

I believe you start doing hair rings checks when they start puberty which is at about 9-10 months old.

Congrats on your new boy! I agree that plenty of chew toys such as apple sticks, lava bites, pumice stones - should be what your chin needs for healthy teeth.
