Standard and pelt shows are over. I can't tell you what happened in the pelt show, but the standard show was great! La Paloma had 5 class champs and Hummel had 4, with Bob Merritt taking one also. Hummel and La Paloma were neck in neck for the top breeders award, but Hummel took it by one point!!!

I haven't heard the results of the standard show yesterday, but Wendy took the top three spots in the mute show today. Congrats to Wendy!!!

GSC and RGS were both BV's. Third Best was a beige.

Everyone did great! congrats to all. i cut short after my 2 std. greys placed 1st and 4th to hang out with my mom. She drove all the way from ft dodge to St joe to see how my chins did!! today was great, there were TONS of het. beiges and a lot of BV. i put my PW on auction (i need the room and didn't thing she'd get more than 1st) she got 3rd best in class and she went pretty quick on the silent auction. ;D

I also enjoyed seeing pictures of all the ladies in their white and gold ensembles, you guys look awesome!

Wendy's animals were amazing, triple congrats to her!!

It was nice meeting everyone. There were some serious photographers there that I'm sure will be sharing photos shortly. These are from setup and the first awards session. There was also a lovely impromptu fashion show involving a fur coat that I can't wait to see pictures of.

Hope everyone made it back safely! Our trip was an event, talk about some serious weather. Finally rolled in this morning to flash flooding and a record setting 10.5 inches of rain in eight hours.
