Any chance the father is not actually the father? I see two mosaic chins there, which means there'd be no chance of a beige/beige wrap being thrown. Unless the pictures of the parents are just that poor in quality that a pink white is being made to look like a mosaic, but that's taking a leap...

My chin room is usually in the 50s during the winter. I've never had an issue, and if it drops below that (it has before) my chins are fine. Your chins will be fine as long as it is comfortable for you.

They should be fine on Pro. My breeding chinchillas do much better on Sho but for my pet animals I've really not noticed a difference.

My daughter adores her pet rat. He's clean, intelligent, remarkably gentle, and easy to care for. Best $10 I ever spent (since I didn't have to buy cage/etc since I have so many on hand).

It was a great show, I had a ton of fun, and can't wait til next year. :)

BUT BUT BUT at least they were saved from those horrible rancher conditions.

And of course I can't find my #2 comb. I mean, how many places can it be? Sigh. I always get super stressed before a show.

REGARDING THIS WEEKEND'S NY SHOW: Any of our newly weaned kits (MHAC D25, 27, 31) can be brought to the show will full payment in advance. I will be bringing Cosette and Gabriel to the show for sale.

I'm sad to hear how many of these chins have died since being placed. Seems like a lot of it is misinformation about care or stress-related. :(

The show is coming up fast! I can't wait to see everyone. Most of my chins are young, so I doubt I'll take any big awards at the show, but it's just nice to hang out with everyone.

I will be meeting Angela in Jamestown and can help to transport if needed. :)
