Anyone know of this? My chin chews on the ledge she's sitting on while being scritched in the back of her head. Does that mean she likes it? Kinda like a dog shaking its leg as his belly is being scratched?
I got one of the ferret or bunny plastic litter pans at the pet store with high side walls. The pyrex glasses can work but my chins tend to dig in it (and sometimes roll around, thinking it's their dust bath?) and end up kicking the litter everywhere out of the cage. Luckily my chins don't chew...
Nope, I would say no need for a pan. But a litter box and a vacuum would probably do you a world of good without a pan. I have all the above. Litter box for the pee (works wonders!) and vacuum for the poops and the cage keeps pretty clean save for a few poopies that make their way out of the...
Target. Get one of those huge cheese balls containers/jars. Eat all the cheese balls. TA DA! A humongous, cheap, dust bath house. And a butt load of cheese balls in your belly.
I actually leave the cage open during play time and they'll run around for a bit then jump back in their cage when they're done. Cuddles actually prefers running on her wheel even with the cage door wide open with the whole living room and kitchen to explore.
Ok, well not an exact duplicate of course. It wouldn't be hard to add additional ventilation, and even a second level for chins to jump up on. Doesn't it get your imagination going? It's just impressive how she was able to replicate a much more realistic habitat for the hamsters as well as make...
I just bought my used Ferret Nation on Craigslist and found a bunch of rust in the corners. I went through one round of washing yesterday and I can still smell the last pet's urine in the stains. Gonna try another washing over the weekend.
My question is, has anyone ever tried to repaint or...
Has anyone seen this yet? Not sure if this may have been posted before. I'm a newb here. But I'd like to try to make something like this in the -far- future.

Wow, $149 for a 142 is cheap! Oh well, I need a cage right away, this is the cheapest one I could find for the time being. Free shipping definitely helps though. Most online distributors seem to charge upwards of $25-$50 for shipping.
