    Well, That Was Unexpected

Aww...I bet Ronnie knew exactly what she was doing. I bet she made sure the little guy ended up with you. Nothing like a little intervention from the dearly departed, eh? PHOEBE! Be a good girl for once, LOL.

    "Poopy Boots"

You can hope and pray that little Chloe will decide to give herself a bath. One of mine has reverted to this tactic as a last ditch effort to avoid being dumped in the big sink. A few mornings ago, she was just disgusting... her belly fur and feet were covered in pee and poop from a night of...

    spending too much time online!

I don't limit myself because, well, I can't. The majority of my daily work is on the computer, and I web design in the evening. I haven't yet figured out a way to design websites away from the computer, heh.

    Braces are coming off!

Thank you, Chantel. That photo was taken in January, so about midway through everything. My cheekbones have actually moved a bit higher since then. One of the makeup artists at Sephora made a point of commenting on them a few weeks ago.

    Braces are coming off!

It's absolutely amazing how something that seems so minor can have such a huge effect. I didn't know that a poor bite would cause pinched nerves in one's neck and shoulder. For my entire life, simply touching my shoulder would cause numbness in my arms and legs and doctors had no idea. I got...

    Sookie's eye...

If it was wooden bedding, I'd worry that her little eye got scratched or something. From personal experience, that really hurts. It heals fast once the irritant is gone, but she could still have a teeny piece caught.

    Jon and Kate plus 8

    They filed for divorce today.

    Braces are coming off!

I didn't really get a choice in the matter. The ortho just said that's what he was doing, and it seemed easier than having a retainer that I could possibly lose. LOL.

    Braces are coming off!

Tiatrack - my teeth have been in position since January and they could have come off then. He chose to "fine tune" imperfections I couldn't even see, and let the roots settle. Jenn - my retainer will be permanently bonded in my mouth, so i can't forget to wear it. Hehe. They will bond a metal...

    Braces are coming off!

I didn't mind them too much, to be honest. The health benefits I found along the way made the process much easier to bear. My bite was so messed up that I couldn't chew my food properly and it was affecting my digestion. I just missed certain foods, like ribs, corn on the cob and gum. LOL.

    Braces are coming off!

This might be the only "before" picture you'll see with me smiling. I hated my smile so much. I'm not a very photogenic person, and I hate cameras. Ooh... apples! I'm already dreaming about sliced apples with caramel sauce. Yum!

    Braces are coming off!

YAY! YAY! YAY! I got braces last year, in June. I opted for an accelerated process to ensure that my teeth would be good and ready before my wedding in September. That meant more pain at times, which was fine by me. I got news today that they're coming off on August 5... exactly ONE month before...

I sooo don't want to get scammed, need advice...

I hate scams like this, but I enjoy wasting their time. My dad listed his classic car for sale once, and a guy from Nigeria emailed about it. Over the course of 2 or 3 weeks, this Roadrunner turned into an old tractor, a nag of a horse, a Nissan write-off, a boat, back to a horse, and a few...

    Burying his food?

Maybe he just doesn't like his food. Cuda used to pick each Wellness kibble out of his bowl and carry it over to his litter box and just leave it. Eventually, I got the hint.

    What could this be?

Umm, I don't know if they injected her in that particular spot, but she did get a dose of Metacam last Friday when she had some teeth extracted. I know for a fact she didn't have Baytril - she's very sensitive to it and it causes projectile vomit. Her vet knows not to give that to her. It...

    Ronnie - 2003-June 19 2009

No problem, Sandi... I'd be glad to. If you can, please send me some high quality photos of her and I'll put something together for you.

    What could this be?

Update: Just got home and checked on her. The area around two quills is still dark red, almost purple, but the other areas have shrunk and lightened. It definitely resembles an all out bruise now. It still doesn't bother her when I touch it. I think I freaked out over nothing. Again.

    What could this be?

I'm pretty sure she does this because she gets spoiled rotten at the vet office too - they love her to pieces. This is her way of ensuring adequate snuggles.

    Ronnie - 2003-June 19 2009

Sandi, I'm so sorry to hear about Ronnie, and I'm sure she found Irwin at the Bridge. Between him and Hemi, I'm sure she'll settle right in and settle in as the boss hog. Like I said in another thread, I'm so very glad that she chose to pass on her own and spare you the pain of making the...

    Signs of Pain?

Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry, Sandi! I'm very glad she did it on her own; it saved you the pain of making that decision for her.
