I agree with what everyone else has said about the a/c. Fleece is a "safe" material as long as your chin doesn't chew it. Most chins don't, but it's one of those things you just have to keep an eye on.

I use a homemade cardboard playpen. You can order the panels from almost any shipping supply website. You just tape the panels together, and voila! The panels fold up very easily for storage, so you can slip them away after playtime.

I agree, lots of dust! As for a cage, you could check on craigslist, I've found some great cages on there. Congratulations!

The liners are usually made with an absorbent material between the layers of fleece, which soaks up the urine. Some people use littler pans in addition to the liners, but it's really a personal choice. You shake off the poo and hay before you wash them, and change them out somewhere around...

I agree with using a coop cup, attaching it to the cage slightly above the shelf has worked for me.
