Here is what I've done with the Feisty Ferret that Bella lives in: I removed the middle wire shelf and just used wooden shelves. I also covered the plastic pan with fleece....but I am planning to order a custom size metal pan from bassequipment.com.

I'm with you, Peggy......I can handle about any kind of critter there is....BUT I don't do bugs, either.....especially flying ones :yuck:

Right now each cage takes turn getting out for playtime in the bathroom. It's big so they have lots of room to run and surf and it's the easiest cleanup ;) But I am hoping to get a chin safe room of their own set up soon. :D

Yea, Carol Anne...the fleece liners are wonderful. Then you only have poos to sweep or vacum instead of poos AND pine shavings/bedding. :D
