Where do your chins like to pee?

You could try toilet training your chins? Find the spot that your chin likes to pee at, then place a litter pan over it for your chin to pee on and avoid the mess. After a while, try moving the pan to different places while keeping some soiled litter so that your chin can still have a familiar...

    Chins sleeping in the open

You have nothing to worry about! My chin does it on a daily basis. He's just very comfortable with his surroundings that's all. :)

    My Little Chin's Cage

Hey, perhaps you could provide more hideouts for your chin?

    Varying poop size

So I feed my chin the same diet every single day. What I notice is that his poop is bigger in the night and smaller in the day. What's that about? And by smaller I mean half the size of the big poop.

    Sleeping Location

Alright! I guess there's nothing to be worried about then :) Thanks so much for all the feedback.

    Sleeping Location

Do some chins just like to sleep on the cage floor rather than in hideouts? Mine in particular loves the floor and sleeps sideways regardless of temperature of the room or the many hideouts I provide him with.

    Toilet training?

How big is your food bowl? I switched from one with a large base to one that is small such that my chin can't stand on it. He has stopped peeing in the food bowl from then on.

    Chin with Allergies?

I guess you could try removing one item at a time from the cage to test if your chin stops sneezing or continues to sneeze? Perhaps that would help you find out what your chin is really allergic to.

    Colour of sole

Thank you for the replies. Could I just add on another question? Is there a supposed colour for a chin's urine? My chin has pretty dark yellow in colour urine.

    Colour of sole

My chin is a TOV Mosaic. I have noticed that the colour of his soles are one black (I thought it was dirt but it isn't) and one pinkish in colour. Is that perfectly normal or is there a standardized colour for all chins?

    Oxbow, Mazuri, Manna Pro Ect

I feed an equal mixture of mazuri and oxbow. Seems to work best for my chin.

Which vet did you bring your chin to and where is your chin from?

    Hiccups or something worse?

    Do you mean popcorning?

    Chinchilla biting

Chinchillas and humans require bonding too or else the chin has a possibility of being hostile to strangers. So more bonding time will be required. Also, some chins just aren't the petting or cuddling type.

    Diarrhea??

If your chin had what might've been a head trauma, you should definitely visit a vet as soon as possible. Chins are preys and tend to hide their troubles so as not to seem weak. Also, if you haven't changed your chin's diet recently, then the diarrhoea is definitely suspicious as well. Please...

    Introducing baby chin

You should definitely wait for the baby chin to be older before putting them in the same cage as the adult chin can harm the baby chin easily. In the meantime, if you're planning to get the baby chin, first quarantine him in another room for up to a month and when nothing is wrong, then you can...

    Post Playtime?

How long was the playtime? Young chins sometimes do not know their limits and can over exert themselves. He's probably just tired out.
