To help keep ledges clean put them in at a tiny bit of a tilt, the poo's will roll of that way. What are you feeding? That might be the issue. I'd guess it's possibly Mazuri, I've heard a lot of people have issues with soft poo's with it.

I agree, if you put them back together you'll just have a big breeding mess, or will have to neuter... I'd just split into two separate cages as well.

I have an old style FN for sale... but in Nebraska probably not much help, lol. I did stack a new style CN on the old style FN. Just drilled the extra holes where the pegs need to go on the inside with no problems. :D We put the new section on top, no additional connectors needed.
