Chin-Chin's Hut (Photo's)

Hi all,

As I state alot I have one chin that loves to lay on his side and it's Chin-chin. When I went in his room yesterday and looked in his cage, he was in his hut [that he tore apart so it's ugly now, there used to be a rounded door and a round window..lol] and laying down on his side, with his head on the floor, laying like a dog does. I just laughed and said let me see if I can get a picture, but when I opened the gate to his cage every so quietly, he still got up. So I took two pictures anyways. He's not laying down, but sitting up in one, and on all fours in the other picture, but still thought I would share. Chin-chin just loves being in his hut when it's sleep time. [And yes I know the floor is a bit dirty.]

Yah right. Good way to look at it. He remodeled it so he could fit better threw the door. lol He is a big one after all, he's my hay eater, can't get enough of it. lol First thing he always goes for when I feed him. Anyways, my dad built that hut so it's really thick, and I thought it would last a bit longer than it did. lol Time to make a few more I guess.

And yes, I hate it when one of your animals is in a really cute position and then they move right before you snap the picture. Murphy's law right. lol

He's just working on getting the door to be chin shaped is all.

Adorable! Looks like our wood houses, we are finally making more! They love to chew the house more than anything else, I swear. Haha.

Everyone's comments are so funny and cute, and very true. And I got a kick out of all of them while reading them. Thanks for the laughs guys. Ya he does have a look like "why did you wake me up you wrotten human".. lol

I really wish I could get one of him while he's sleeping on his side, i think that is so cute when he does it.

Oh and yah Chinniechantel. I thought that because we made the hut for him and it was thick wood, unlike the ones you buy at the pet stores that are thin, that this hut would last a long time, yah right!!! Not when it's chin-chin's. He just loves chewing the hut, and I do put so many other things in the cage for them to chew on. But again isn't it murphy's law, all animals love to play/chew the items that we get for them that we would like to last, and not what we get them to play with or chew on. [speaking for all animals, not just chins]. I have noticed that stuff all my life with all my animals. lol

I remember with one of my cats when I was younger and lived at home, and I used to get her so many toys, but she didn't want any part of them, you know what she loved to play with, twisty ties from bread loaves, and two liter bottle of soda cans tops. So I just stopped buying her toys, and everytime I opened a loaf of bread I would just through the tie on the floor for her, and everytime a bottle of soda was finished i would through the top on the floor for her. I bet that didn't please my mother, lol, but it made my cat happy, and I'm all about making them happy..lol

LOL on the front house remodeling!

Cute pics!! He is adorable. He just had to make some modifications to his house! I can see what I am in for because Kunya did the same thing to his house when I met him last week. His current owner bought a replacement house for when he comes to me. I have my dad on the chin-house making committee, thank goodness! LOL!
