Temporarily switching foods?

The only place around my house that carries Mazuri has been out of it for a few days, so I have been just doubling up on hay. They said they would restock it today, but there is still no Mazuri. Is it ok if I feed him a different food for a few more days until they restock the regular food or is this somehow harmful?

No, not a good idea. The constant changing of foods can upset his digestive system. Just keep feeding the hay and I would be looking for a more reliable source for Mazuri, or find something else that is readily available.

Your chinnie should be fine for a few days. But, it's not good to do this very often. Chins' digestive systems like for things to stay consistent in their diets.
