Tail wagging and spray?

I had a question that isn’t important but I’m just curious…my chin Tank wags his tail and sprays at the same time when I scratch his back area. He doesn’t move away like he’s annoyed but instead he stays in the same area as if he likes it. I’m just curious because I know tail wagging is usually a good sign that a chinchilla’s happy. But I’ve also heard spraying could be that my chin is annoyed. So is he happy or annoyed?
