refurbishing toys

My chins chew up their hanging toys but never really chew the entire thing. They just chew the corners and lose interest. I feel like throwing away and buying new ones are such a waste. Is there a safe way I could refurbish their toys to become reinterested?

I find moving them works. She's like NEW TOY NEW TOY.

moving them and adding or changing out 1 element usually works!

Thanks, I'll try it. But last time I moved stuff around one of my chins got super huffy that I changed stuff.

sometimes U can refurbish old toys by drilling a hole in them and stringing them together in a new way with sisal rope, or vines, or willow ...if they loose interest I take them out clean them and then let them have them a week later...also if they are wood toys Ill sand the chewed parts and clean them then they are like new at the edges...I know I am crazy I spend 15-35 a week on just toys LOL chinchilla can get very spoiled
