Hi

Maybe you guys can help me with this question. I currently have one chin and would like to adopt another. http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/27504744/
He has head tilt. Is this caused by an infection that can stay dormant and may spread to other chins? I looked at chincare.com, but the article is relating to rabbits and chinchillas together. Any words of advice?

Head tilt is generally caused by an ear infection. Few chins survive it. From the description on petfinder, it sounds like it was from an injury. I don't know of any dormant illness, that results in head tilt, that could pop up later and spread. If you are able to take care of his special needs, and you want another chin, he could surely use a good home.
