My vet told me to feed my chin some baby food like green beans to her to get her to start pooping. So bought some but she also told me to use pumpkin. Obviously there is not pumpkin baby food, so we where going to use a can of pumpkin. is that ok? If so how should i use it? i will be feeding her from a syringe, thats what i was told to do.

Make sure that it is pure pumpkin and not pumpkin pie filling and it will be just fine. Why did the vat tell you to syringe feed the chinchilla and why pumpkin instead of Critical Care?

because she is still acting like her normal self after clearing up diarrhea. she just isn't pooping. She said pumpkin cus it has fiber in it.

Is she eating at all? She can't poop if she isn't eating. I would get the critical care and you can mix the pumpkin in to it. She needs to have about 60 ml a day, split into several small feedings, to get her gut moving.
