I am calling the vet tomorrow but have been doing more research on mite treatments.
Ivermectin?
Mite baths? Diluted?
Revolution?
A mild Cat Flea/Tick Spray w/Pyrethrin?
I do not want to let a vet do anything to him until I know but I need first hand advice and opinions. Some say ivermectin can kill, some say it has to be injected in such a small, simple dose. Some say it does no harm. Even a knowledgable certified vet that treats exotics might not have complete and for sure information. What have you been told and has it worked?

Revolution. The others can either be harmful or not do a thorough job (IE you get recurrence of mites). To ensure that it is safe and gets the job done, go with Revolution.

He is great. I was discussing him with my parents and when their cat was a bitty kitty they used revolution and had some left so I took that and used a few drops on poptart and he has cleared right up. One of the vets I talked to wanted to use ivermectin and the other would charge $200 nearly so I was glad I found the revolution without all the hassle. I used literally two drops right behind his ears and ta da!

He seems to be much hPpier. Guess he's not busy itching and scratching all the time. He is also much less huffy. We have been dealing with mites since right after I got him so his first three weeks he has been well behaved but kind of huffy. I assumed it was normal. Now, he is not cage aggressive as much and is much more active inside and out of his cage. He woke me up playing just now. He hasa tp Gibson his headand is wheeling like a mad-hog. Someone hit his fast forward button because now he is all go go gogooo! I guess those mites were kinda bogging him down. Revolution is amazing!!

Awesome. They certainly can have a massive personality change from a mite infestation. Poor guy. At least he is now on the road to being mite free and feeling better.
