I moved recently to a new apartment. I decided not to decorate the way I had at the old place--the same look for 14 years. So I had mom come over and help me as she is really good at it.
A long time ago she bought me this picture with lace doilies and it had a nice family saying:
As a special treat she had the two pictures I've had of my dad when he was a little boy and my grandma--my grandma who meant the world to me and who I've been without for 30 years. This is how we did the grouping!

Also on the shelf are 2 plates of hers and the angels are from Lisa's, the roses on the shelf are from flowers we've given mom through the years. She, like me, loves yellow roses
