So, this might be a stupid question. I did look through the forum before I decided to ask this...

If I purchase wood toy parts from a website that sells wood for bird toys, do I have to still bake the wood? I was planing on purchasing some wood pieces from a bird supply store, and I just wanted to make sure it was all ready to go.
So, once they arrive do I need to bake it in the oven or can I string it together and throw it in her cage?

Thanks!

I don't think that you do. I've just wiped them off before making hanging toys out of them.

Usually they are already prepared, one of the primary reason's for baking is to dry them out to prevent mold, they wouldn't want their bird parts molding either. If in doubt I would ask the bird part store for sure they'll be able to tell you.
