I have a bit of a strange question.. I had a vase of a variety of dead lilly's that I threw out today. When I was walking them to the kitchen I noticed they were shedding and the small pieces inside the flower were flying all over the place and I think some of them MAY have landed in the box of hay because they were on the floor near the box of hay.. I've gone through the hay and I cant see anything.. but are these flowers toxic to a chin?? I just want to make sure its safe to give him the hay incase there might be bits of the flowers mixed in?

According to the ASPCA website all parts of the Lily plant are toxic.

oh wow im glad I asked. I've been giving the hay but been picking through it. Now that I know for sure, i'll buy a new bag today!
