Is there some chin test?

My friend wants a chinchilla and i don't really know what they need to know. Do any of you know if there is a test that someone can take to know if they're ready for a chinchilla. If there isn't someone should definitely try to make one. Maybe one for each topic. Are you ready to breed. Are you ready to own. Are you ready to introduce. Thanks

perhaps us on the forum can compose a "chin test".

and you know....go to pet stores and secretly put them near the chin cages lol

but really, i know that a lot of my friends ask me if i recommend owning a chinchilla. sometimes i worry that i overwhelm them cuz i go into a rant about how to take care of them. perhaps putting something together, titling it as "is a chinchilla a good pet for me" and somehow linking it to google will help. after all, we all know the wonders of google!
