Identification Question

I am getting two Beige brothers and they look exactly alike. Until I can tell them apart by their personalities can I put different color harnesses on them? I don't want to walk them just tell them apart.

Do not put any harnesses or collars of any kind of a chin. Either trim one of their tails or you can even use a marker in one of their ears to identify them. Chins will chew through the material and if its ingested, it can cause impaction.

Ok I've heard mixed opinions on the harness thing. I haven't got them yet so one may be darker than the other I've just seen pictures.

I sharpie ears NEVER put a harness on your chinchilla.

I sharpie ears as well. Works good and will wear off eventually.
