The Animal Rescue Site is having a grant contest that is super easy to participate in. The grants range from $1,000 to $20,000 and voting is daily from now through July 26th. Simply go to the link below, scroll down the page to the purple box and type in Wee Companions as the rescue name and CA as the state. When Wee Companions pops up click vote.

Your participation by voting daily will help us greatly in these tough economic times. Donations are down and the requests to take in animals is on the rise. This grant, in any amount, will go a long way to enabling us to help more animals and to provide the day to day requirements for the hundreds of animals already in our care.

We've got some work to do folks. Wee Companions isn't even in the top 100 yet. There are over 1000 of us on here! We could fix that in nothing flat.

Today we are 121 nationally and 9 in California. For a small organization we are doing really well and there is a hope that we can make it to number one with everyone's help. The contest runs through 26 July. It is really important that we keep up our daily voting levels.
