GoGo Chinchilla

Ever wonder why the Steiff chinchilla was named GoGo? Well if you've ever seen one with its original tag, on the back it has a little message: Ask for the picture book "Around the World with GoGo"

GoGo was made by Steiff based on the 1964 children's book by Terry Shannon. GoGo was the pet of a Seattle travel agent in the 60s, with a story about a lonely chinchilla that searches the world over to find a mate.

I just got a copy of the book and wanted to share a couple of the darling pages.
