Food and hay question

Hey so is it better to use alfalfa pellets and then Timothy hay or Timothy pellets and alfalfa hay? I heard you had to do it either ot and was I wearing wich was best. Thanks!

i use western timothy hay and alfalfa based pellets

My get always said that alfalfa hay is no good for the kits right in sugar . I get obow timothy, botanical hay , orchard grass . I use oxbow chinchilla pellets . I get that from Dr foster and Smith.
