I want to put in an order today for the ferret nation bass pans. The standard is 2.5" high. In your experience, does that keep enough bedding in for typical use ? I mean, I know some will get kicked out at some point, but for normal hopping around. Have any of you gotten custom made pans with steeper sides? how much did that cost? Thanks for your insight.

I got the idea of bass pans on this forum people saying theirs were 4" high. I wanted 3" for mine. When I called, I forgot to specify what height I wanted, so I called back a few minutes later and she told me that 3 is the standard/tallest they go and that's what she put my order for. I think it's a good height and wouldn't go any shorter or any taller for usefulness and aesthetics, respectfully.
