Okay, I read all of the stickys dealing with cat food and I know their shouldn't be any biproducts or processed food in there. I also know that the fat should not be more than 15%. Is that pretty much all I have to look for when evaluating a new food? I don't think it's that simple.
 
You want to find a food with quality ingredients. Look for one that has multiple meat items in the first 5 ingredients. One without corn in the first 5 is also good. Take a look at some of the foods that we recommend. Look at the ingredient listings, and let them guide you.
