So, I'm getting the Critter Nation Model 162 (Double Unit) and I have a question about the pans.

I understand most people purchase Bass Pans, but is that absolutely necessary if I line the plastic pans with fleece? I am going to line the pans with fleece either way, but should I spend the extra money on Bass Pans just to be safe or should I keep the plastic and line it?
