Chinchilla Literature

Lately I have been searching for a good source of information that has made its way to print. Yet, I have only found dated and antiquated information on the species in captivity and much of it comes as brief excerpts from considerably larger texts. My question is, has anyone found a good book on chinchillas, either as a species or concerning their general care?

*I still have not checked the "Chin Related Articles" section of the site, but I think it should prove to satisfy my search for the time being

I bought the "The Chinchilla Handbook" by Sharon L Vandertrip DMV when my son left his chin as an overnight guest that never left. I found it to have good basic information regarding chin care. I found it to be very helpful and still use it as a reference guide almost a year later.

I got it at Petsmart but it is available on Amazon.
