Right now, I have Magyk on a mix of the Oxbow hays, giving her a variety of Orchard Grass, Botanical hay, some Alfalfa and Timothy (This one is from an organic farmer near us, we get large bales because we have bunnies as well, but it's actually nicer stuff then the Oxbow bags that I have seen).
Is giving her a mix the best option? She's on the Oxbow pellet that is alfalfa based, so I supposed that too much Alfalfa would not be good like with rabbits and horses, so she gets minimal amounts, more as a treat then anything else. But is an even mix of everything else alright?
