Every now and then I will look online at cages...not that I'm looking to buy one, just out of sheer boredem. Anyway, I always see the rabbit cages, and think to myself how small they are. A lot of places advertise chin cages to sometimes be one level, but usually at least a level and a half or 2. But it seems like ALL rabbit cages are hardly any bigger than the rabbit itself.
couple examples: http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2754687 how is there any room for them?

Then there is this one, that looks very nice, 2 levels, but still doesn't seem like much room http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2753331

Is it just from being a chin owner, and having such big cages for their hyper lil selves to play in and jump? Any rabbit I have ever seen just pretty much sits there, but I'm starting to think it's just cause they are in such small cages. Would you be able to put a rabbit in a cage, such as a 2 level FN or are they actually content with what they are usually in??

I also think those are small. I have my lionhead rabbit in a large 40 x 20 cage and also a large pen attached to the cage so he can go in and out of his cage all the time. I have read some reviews on the FN and a couple people said they have rabbits in there. I guess if your rabbits are very active it would be a good cage.

i had a dwarf holland lop & she had a huge dog crate for a cage. however she was only kept in her cage at night, she had free roam of the house during the day because somebody was always home & she was our only pet.
