I've always used wooden ledges but I decided to try something new and he loves it. He pretty much hasn't left this spot since I put it in last night....I'm going to pick up a few more tomorrow!

I got him the chin spin yesterday and ever since then he has been running on it for a while then getting off and laying on his side right next to it....i have never seen him lay on his side before. He is alert when i go over to the cage and usually jumps up immediately, sometimes he even goes...

I ordered 10 pounds off the internet since it was the same price i was paying for 2.5 pounds at Petsmart but i didn't really realize how much 10 pounds of Chinchilla food is until it arrived at my house....it will take my chin 6+ months to eat all this....will it stay good that long?
