Meanie has a LOT more pics, she's just not sharing them all. The feed bag pic still makes me sad. I wish that ranch were still in existence.

I definitely want to go to the chinnie museum!

I did share them. There is a link to all the photos in my first post. :neener:

Great pics! It's been a couple years since I've been there but I'll be going again in June! Everything they have there is SO interesting!
When are you going, Sumiko? I might have to tag along and ask tons more questions. ;)

I love this old photo - doesn't it just sum up a cheeky chinchilla?

I'm going the second weekend of June! I will be down in Frazier Park for the annual CA group meeting and then going to the ranch. You're welcome to tag along! I will also be purchasing some females from them while I'm there... :)

Next March my nephew is getting married in Palm Desert and that is only 45 minutes away from Anza! :hmm: How to convince the hubby & family on a "side" road trip?!

Tell them your friend wants to see you...and I'll grab you and take you out there! :neener:

Count me in. We could tour the museum, visit with Gary and go for lunch. :dance3:

This was very interesting to look at.

thanks for Sharing!

Claire D - Love the Cheeking little chin picture. Black and white pictures are my favorite

I NEED to make a trip out....Sandi I will go with you LOL leave the family home

OMG! That would be WAY too much fun if we had a big group go out there! He's always up for company and he can make it into an educational day for us and pull animals for grooming and judging and such!

Who's paying for my plane ticket? Pleeeeease? Seriously, though, when's this next trip again? Where's the closest airport to you, Tab?

Wow, that stuff is just amazing... wish I lived closer! I have to admit I cracked up at the thought of trying to comb a chin with that...

Claire, where did you get that photo? I love it!

im so confused about the dust stones... do they just roll around in it and it dusts them? dont make fun of me!

I have a box of stones from an old breeder. They don't really work to keep the chin dusted, but they do enjoy chewing on them.
